Tubers from Bay Horizon Dahlias will be true to variety, have at least one viable eye, and will grow into healthy dahlia plants when properly cultivated.

Tubers come in all shapes and sizes: the tubers you receive may be large, small, firm, wrinkly, cut, or weirdly shaped.   They will still produce beautiful plants even if the tubers themselves are not "beautiful." 

We take active measures to keep our dahlias free of virus & disease. We sterilize our tools between cuts and when dividing tubers. Plants showing signs of disease are culled.

Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order if your purchased tuber does not have a visible eye or sprout, has a broken neck, or is not labeled as the variety you ordered.

Please contact us by September 1, 2025 if your dahlia blooms and you find it's the wrong variety, and we'll arrange for replacement.

Please provide photos or videos of the tuber(s) in question.

We are not responsible for loss of stock due to the customer's storage conditions, waking up conditions (i.e. rot) and/or growing conditions (including weather, pest, or animal damage) nor for plant performance in the following year(s).
